Brenna Joyce

Brenna has been teaching group fitness classes since 2008 and started with cycle and strength classes. She is AFAA certified in group fitness and is an E-RYT, 200 hr yoga instructor. She is also certified in yoga sculpt, kaiser cycling, Trigger Point, and Barre. Brenna got into yoga in 2004 as a cross-training injury prevention for running and began exploring the many other benefits of yoga since then. You can find her teaching sculpt here or subbing a vinyasa flow. Her certifications, years of continued education and her passion to help others achieve their mental and physical fitness goals have led her to keep exploring new options with you in class. In her free time, she enjoys running with her dog, practicing yoga, learning to sail, and learning to play the ukulele.

Jaime Jacobsen

Jaime began her yoga journey in 2017 as a way to gain flexibility in both body and mind. After years of struggling with anxiety she quickly realized how a consistent yoga practice brought a sense of inner peace and has continued ever since. She completed 200hr teacher training through Revival in 2022 and finally found her voice. With an emphasis on intentional breathing and listening to the body, she now hopes to spread that same joyous calm one breath at a time.

Jennifer Dawson

I'm Jennifer Dawson and I teach hot pilates!

Feeling linked in with my higher self, I am so excited to be a new instructor at Revival. I feel aligned with the Aura and good vibes that surround and embodies the instructors/ members of this community.

I have been passionate about fitness and helping others nearly my entire life. I became a Group Certified Fitness instructor at the young age of 18 and have taught classes all over the Southside of Chicago for 20 years! The variety of classes includes Kickboxing, 'Buts and Guts ', Abs Attack, Sculpt and Tone, Barre, Pilates, Hot Pilates and Chair Yoga and Yoga Sculpt!

Jessie Gillen

Jessie has always had a very active lifestyle. Her hobbies include long distance running, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and kickboxing to name a few. Jessie found yoga while preparing for her first half marathon. Looking for a new and fun way to strengthen and challenge her body, Jessie took her first heated yoga class. She found that a regular practice made her long distance running and other activities even more enjoyable! Jessie loves the physical benefits that yoga offers and the peace and clarity that yoga provides. Jessie completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through CorePower Yoga in order to become an instructor and share yoga’s many amazing benefits with you!

Juliette Fry

Yoga’s power to transform darkness into light guides Juliette’s yoga philosophy and her enthusiasm for yoga knows no bounds. Her certifications besides cycle include RYT 200, Yoga Sculpt, and Aerial Yoga. Her free-spirited approach to being on the mat may find you giggling more than you’ve done in most yoga practices and that’s intentional. Her passion for the healing power of yoga is evident especially in her dedication for adaptive yoga outreach. At Revival Cycle, Juliette’s goal is to have students leave her class better than they began in body, mind, and spirit. With an encouraging and energetic atmosphere, upbeat music, and effervescent attitude, we guarantee you’ll enjoy her “spin” on cycle. Exercise has been a healing force in every stage of her life. She clearly loves this life journey!

Kelly Knapczyk, LCPC

Kelly (Durnell) Knapczyk is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has always had an interest in exercise and how it impacts mental & physical health. Kelly been practicing yoga since 2003 and became a regular at Revival Yoga Studio in September 2017. 

Kelly completed her certification of Yoga for Kids & families in March of 2020. 

Kelly completed Yoga Sculpt training March 2022 with Heather Stanley. Kelly began teaching regularly at Revival May of 2022. 

Kelly most recently completed her certification in Grief Counseling and treatment training and Yoga for Kids to Improve Sensory, Self-Regulation and Physical Skills for Autism, ADHD, DCD, Down Syndrome and CP. 

Liz Porter

After experiencing the life transforming benefits of yoga, she signed up for Lifepower’s 200hr teaching training with the desire to learn how to share and give the same to others. Upon graduation, she let the universe and her heart guide her. There she found herself in a space still in the buildout stage that would become Revival Yoga Studio. After six years of teaching from the heart, a desire to expand her teaching skills by enrolling in a 300hr Lifepower teaching training. With this expanded knowledge, she guides students in both grounding meditative and strengthening energetic classes.

Maura Therese

An equator by profession with a passion for wellness, Maura loves to learn and help others. Maura’s personal experience with yoga has led her to earn her RYT200 with additional specialized training in Restorative Yoga. Whether in movement or stillness, Maura’s classes support your growth in your unique yoga practice. Discover a balance of effort and ease, find grounding, build resilience on your mat and carry it all with you into your everyday life!

Meg Shaklee

Mother of three,  small business owner and yogi completed her 200 hour CYT spring 2019 from Revival Yoga Wellness Studio. She specializes in teaching vinyasa flow. Practicing yoga fills her up with so much happiness and she loves finding freedom flowing on her mat while connecting to her mind, body and spirit. She’s excited to share her fun loving energy and big heart as she helps guide you on your yoga journey.

Nicole Schneider

Nicole Schneider is a full-time traveling yoga teacher, 500HR RYT, 200HR E-RYT, with training in multiple Hatha styles. Along with her full teaching schedule, Nicole leads private and corporate yoga sessions, supports community efforts through yoga fundraising events, and shares her teachings in yoga workshops and trainings across the Chicagoland area. Nicole has developed her own 30HR Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Program and is passionate about training other teachers and students. With a global finance background and Northwestern MBA, Nicole understands the stress of corporate life and enjoys helping others cultivate their own peace and balance through yoga and meditation.
